Today I would like to share with you the wedding of Rosie & Simon. They choose to get married at the Bear at Rodborough, Stroud in a small and intimate wedding among family and friends. The venue itself offers a warm and cosy atmosphere, perfect for a winter wedding, and with lots of photography opportunities inside and out, I had been looking forward to this wedding since I met Rosie, Simon and Ava (their cute little girl) for afternoon tea a couple of weeks earlier.
The big day finally came around and on my arrival I was simply in awe. It had turned out to be a beautiful day, by far one of the loveliest days of the winter with the sun shine glisten on the snow covered ground and a clear blue sky. I was so happy that Rosie & Simon had a perfect winter wonderland that they had hoped for.
I knew from our first meeting that their wedding would be a simple yet perfectly formed affair and what I loved, apart from the amazing atmosphere and warmth of the people present, was it is clear that their wedding was not about the finer details of the day but a celebration of Rosie & Simon’s love, commitment and family. Many brides get so caught up in the smaller details sometimes they can easily forget that your wedding day is the first day of the rest of your lives together.
Rosie & Simon, it was my pleasure to capture the candid moments and sheer amount of love throughout the day. Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your special day, and I wish you both all the best in the future!
