2022 – the year I refined my business, epic couples got married and we felt a sense of normality in weddings after covid. It’s a year I will always remember for the hugs being bigger, endless smiles, wild dance floors and a sense of being reunited in the name of love. And what a reason to celebrate!
Covid changed my outlook on my business and pushed me to look inwards. It’s not often that you get this opportunity in an already established business twelve years in, so I used the time to grow on the foundations I had already set to be the best version of myself. I wanted 2022 to be my best year yet for every couple! I invested in new software and training, upgraded my camera to a mirrorless system, tweaked my editing for consistency and on reflection look back feel it’s all been worth it- the feedback I have received from the couples has been incredible. I already know what a privilege it is to capture a wedding day but this year has made me realise just how much your love inspires me to be the best photographer I can be.
You have been amazing! Thank you for trusting me to document your day. Every single wedding was special and I felt honoured to be welcomed by you and your guests. From rustic barns to country manor houses, tipis at home to churches in back gardens, I have laughed, cried and witnessed the most beautiful love stories.
In this collection, I have chosen 100 photographs from 2022 which I feel sums up my photography approach and style – beautiful, natural and timeless moments.
Special thank you to all the suppliers I have worked with. Your creative input has ensured beautiful details and photographs for all these lovely couples.
I am a believer in community over competition and I have been lucky to meet and surround myself with like-minded people that have supported and helped push me forward.
I wish everyone health, happiness and love in 2023.
